About Tepee Matakana
Tepee Matakana was created from a love of simple living, nature, and meaningful connection. Tucked among native greenery on the Matakana Coast, our off-grid retreat is designed for guests to slow down, unwind, and enjoy the beauty of being outdoors — comfortably.
Each tepee is solar-powered and styled with natural materials, offering a balance of comfort and sustainability. We’ve kept things light on the land, using renewable energy and thoughtful design to let nature take centre stage.
Whether you’re sharing stories by the fire pit, exploring local beaches, or just enjoying quiet moments under the stars, Tepee Matakana invites you to reconnect — with yourself, with others, and with the world around you.
